​Puedes iniciar la conversación compartiendo que estás aprendiendo mucho sobre el dinero leyendo libros. Esos libros de dinero hablan de la importancia de la compatibilidad financiera. Asegúrale a la cita que estás emocionado de seguir conociéndolos, pero que hablar de dinero es importante para ti y te gustaría conversar sobre ello. ¡Te animamos a que hagas esto ya en la tercera cita!

RELACIÓN CON EL DINERO

La mayoría de los hijos de inmigrantes no tenían conversaciones regulares sobre dinero en casa, porque nuestros padres estaban trabajando duro y adaptándose a un nuevo país. El trauma financiero no es infrecuente en la comunidad de primera generación. Pero es importante que tengamos conciencia de nosotros mismos y la voluntad de curar nuestras heridas monetarias a través de la terapia.

HABLEMOS DE METAS DE DINERO

El dinero afecta todos los aspectos de tu vida, como dónde vives, qué tipo de alimentos comes y a qué tipo de atención médica tienes acceso. Al tener citas, deseas encontrar una pareja que tenga un estilo de vida similar al tuyo, y tus objetivos económicos serán una buena indicación de tu estado actual y de dónde quieren estar.

FAMILIA Y FINANZAS

La comunidad latina está muy orientada a la familia. Lo que significa que muchos de nosotros nos enorgullecemos de brindar apoyo financiero a la familia extendida, como padres, abuelos, hermanos u otros miembros de la familia ancianos que puedan necesitar nuestra ayuda. Esto agrega una capa adicional a la compatibilidad financiera con alguien. Si tienes valores económicos y familiares diferentes, puede causar discusiones y estrés en tu relación más adelante.
